Lyson's small solar wax melter is a necessity for processing wax cappings after extracting. Its compact size of 16 x 24 x 8 inches and low cost, make it great for the small scale beekeeper.
Place your cappings and comb on a stainless-steel tray within the melter and place it in the summer sun to let the sunshine do its work! The melted wax drips into the stainless steel catch pan creating cakes of wax for your use.
