Product Description
This round hive top feeder can be used for feeding syrup with the included insert. It may also be used for dry pollen or sugar, just leave the top off! Place in an empty hive body on top of the brood box for internal feeding of a single colony. Works with deep, medium, or shallow, 8 or 10 frame boxes.
May also be used for open feeding of pollen in a bee yard by placing the container in an empty hive in the bee yard for access by all the colonies.
It holds approximately 1/2 gallon of syrup or 3 pounds of pollen. The insert helps reduce the risk of bees drowning when liquid feeding.
