The Varrox Oxalic Acid Vaporizer comes with wings that keep the vaporizer from turning over in the hive.
To use, simply load the stainless steel cup of the vaporizer with one gram of oxalic acid (see item #610S), per brood chamber. Insert wand in the hive entrance and connect it to any 12-volt battery. Leave it alone for 2 1/2 minutes. Disconnect the vaporizer and leave it in the hive for an additional minute to disperse the vapors. Remove it from the hive, immerse it in a pail of water to cool, and move on to your next hive. Remember to seal the hive for 10 minutes after you remove the vaporizer to lock in the vapors. Use cut pieces of foam or your entrance reducer (just don't forget to unblock the entrance when completed!). Instructions included. Manufactured in Switzerland.
